Rodney Burchett, headmaster of LCA, contacted Matt Hardin, the pastor at Hilltop Baptist Church, after reconnecting with him at LCA’s Pastor Appreciation event at the main campus at Nicoma Park in October 2023.

The school and church planned to open a satellite campus in August 2025. However, God s provision and the Spirit s movement allowed the school and church to open the satellite campus in August 2024 with 10 students. By the end of the school year, the campus had increased by almost 50% to 14 students.

The school started with two teachers and divided grades between K-2 and 3-5.

As of June 1st, enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year is set @ 22 with three teachers and a teacher/administrator.
