We know that this year is like no other.  We are fighting a virus while trying to maintain a stable living environment for our everyday life.  While life does not stop for a virus.  We will take precautions to try and maintain a healthy, safe environment for our students as well as our staff.  With this new way of life comes new policies.

PLEASE LABEL ALL SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND BRING TO ORIENTATION

Parent Orientations are as followed: August 17th 3:00 to 4:00 – K5 – 2nd grade                                                                                                              August 17th 4:30 to 5:30 – 3rd-6th grade                                                                                                            August 17th 6:00 to 7:00 – 7th-9th grade                                                                                                            August 17th 7:30 to 8:30 – 10th – 12th grade

(Temperatures will be taken at the gym door located on the east side of the building. We will not be letting students or parents in the rest of the building.  We will have a 30 minute window in between orientations for staff to disinfect.  Please bring school supplies with you.  The teachers will disinfect all items and put them away for your student.   We apologize that these steps are necessary but your child’s safety is our top priority.  Mask not required but it will not be an issue if your student wears one.)

First Day of School is August 19th.  School starts for ALL classes at 8:10.   Classes will end at 3:25.

(We encourage you to arrive a few minutes early.  We will be taking temperatures at the door.   We ask that parents do not give their child any medication that would reduce a fever.  If it is for something that is for headache or pain please give it to your child once we have gotten a read on their temperature.  If we find that you have given this medication prior to arrival the student will be sent home for three days.  Unfortunately, we will not be allowing parents in the building (even the first day).  This is to reduce the traffic and the possible spread of the virus.  Please keep in mind all these measures are to try and cut back on exposure.  Please know that we realize most children are resilient to this virus, but we do have students and staff with medical issues.  Our goal is to keep each individual as safe as possible during this time.  Mask not required but it will not be an issue if your student wears one.)
